FRIENDLY GAME

Calling all cricketers. NOSCA cricket team have been offered a friendly match against Aberdeenshire on the 25 May 08 and the Scottish Cup game against Stirling on the 8 May 08.

Anybody from your teams who is available for these games and wanting to be part of this years team please send their names to me. Hopefully we will get a training session before the friendly.

Its looks like the win against ORCA on Sunday is not enough toput the 2nd XI through to the Cup Final on the 20th August.

Membership Fees are now due £10 for adults £5 for Juniors.

MATCH SPONSORS

Please could all players chase up possible sponsers as the club do not have all matches sponsered this season. Remember that this ensures that we get to have a new ball for every game so if you are a bowler and want to bowl with a new ball rather than an old one please get some sponsers into the club its only £15 per match.

CLUB SHIRTS

The club intend to make shirts available to players with the club badge on them the club will be part subsidising the shirts and all you have to do is let your captains know which size you require. If we look like a team we may play like one.

Caps are availble to players for £5 all enquires to captains or Allan Smith.

UP AND COMING TALENT

If you know of any kids interested in cricket then please remind Mums and Dads that coaching is on every Wedensday weather permitting at 6.30pm £1 per session.

That goes for adults as well.The more adults and youngsters the club has the better we will get and remember youth is the only way the club will see in another century of playing.

CLUB DINNER

If any members have any thoughts on dates or ideas on venue or theme please could you let Bubs know as he would like this organised as soon as possible so members get the most time to arrange baby sitters and transport etc the more people there the better the night will be.

YOUR THOUGHTS IN A NEW NEWS LETTER

If any of the players or members have any thoughts on what they would like to see in the news letters please pass on your ideas to Bubs and he will try to include your ideas. Future topics/issues could include the new clubhouse 20/20 cricket and highlights of the season so far, its up to you guys as its your newsletter.
